Diva went winners bitch for 2 points and Madison went best of opposite for 2 more grand champion points!

Today I had to say good bye to my first papillon, the dog who started it all for me. It is never easy no matter how old they are or how sick they are, it is always a shock and a heart break. Casey belonged to my grandma and after she passed away he came to live with me, so losing him was like losing the last part of my grandma. He was never a show dog but was trained in obedience and agility and earned his CGC title. But after having a seizure at the age of three, caused by an enlarged heart he could never compete. Every time he went out of the house he would shut down and have a seizure. But at the age of thirteen his heart gave out. Casey, say hi to Grandma for me, and I will see you again some day. I love you!

May 18-26, 2013~ PAPILLON CLUB OF AMERICA NATIONAL SPECIALTY~ Louisville, Kentucky~
What an eventful week and a day it was! They first three days was papillon only agility at Flying Feet Agility training club in Floyds Knobs, IN. DJ did well and Q'ed in master jumpers the first day with a 4th place out of 58! Quest Q'ed in Open FAST and got his OF title with a 1st place and Madison double Q'ed in open with two 3rd placements! Day two, DJ double Q'ed with a 4th place in master standard and came in 7th in master jumpers, out of 58 in both classes! Madison Q'ed in open standard and got Q'ed in master jumpers with a beautiful run! DJ also Q'ed in T2B! Day three, Helio double Q'ed for his 3rd double Q for his MACH!
The third day of agility there was also a regional specialty at the host hotel in Louisville, KY where my friend Zach did a wonderful job of showing Diva for me and placing 3rd with her in the open bitch class!
At the national, I showed Diva in the open bitch class and she showed wonderfully and won the class! What an honor to win a class at your national specialty!!
The week ended with a third regional specialty and Madison was one of four dogs selected for an award of merit!!!

3 shows, 3 majors!!!
Friday March 15, Madison got her first grand champion major by going select bitch! Saturday Collette showed for the first time and went winners bitch for a 4 point major!!! Manhattan went best of opposite for her 4th grand champion major and finished her grand championship!!! Sunday, Diva won the open bitch class and went reserve a 4 point major, so close!
Gem City Agility Trial, Feb. 24 - 25, 2013~
Sunday, Madison won open jumpers and got her first leg towards her OAJ title and DJ Q'ed master standard and won T2B! Monday, Madison won open standard and got her first leg for her OA title!
Papillon Club Of America Regional and WESTMINSTER, New York City, Feb. 8-13, 2013~
We made it again! No wins this year but New York City and Westminster were as great as ever and I always enjoy the trip and Madison showed beautifully for her first time at Westminster. It is an honor to be a part of America's dog show!!!
Dayton Dog Training Club Agility Trial, Jan. 26-27, 2013~
Saturday, DJ placed third out of 21 in master jumpers, then Sunday he double Q'ed and got his MX (master excellent standard) title and placed 4th out of 18 in master jumpers, naming him a Master Bronze Jumper!!! (MJB)
